Lycopene

Today I found out that my Heinz tomato ketchup is rich in Lycopene. In fact, it's a great source!

For those who don't know, Lycopene is an anti-oxidant.

Um... okay...

I've heard the word "anti-oxidant", but I'm not sure what it is. I bet I could figure it out though.

Oxidation occurs when oxygen hits a metallic element, hence, rust.

An anti-oxidant must work against oxidation.

So, we may deduce that Heinz ketchup keeps your stomach from rusting.

Thank God for Lycopene!
